With a 60-minute playtime, updated packaging, rules fixes, timing icons, and reminder cards, it offers a polished experience fully compatible with the original edition and expansions. Perfect for fans of dark humor and quick, engaging gameplay. ## Description In the Gloom card game, you assume control of the fate of an eccentric family of misfits and misanthropes. The goal of the game is sad, but simple: you want your characters to suffer the greatest tragedies possible before passing on to the well-deserved respite of death. Play horrible mishaps like Pursued by Poodles or Mocked by Midgets on your own characters, while trying to cheer your opponents' characters with marriages and other happy occasions. Printed on transparent plastic cards, Gloom features an innovative design by Keith Baker. Multiple modifier cards can be played on top of the same character card; since the cards are transparent, elements from previously played modifier cards either show through or are obscured by those played above them. You'll immediately and easily know the worth of every character, no matter how many modifiers they have. You've got to see (through) this game to believe it! The second edition includes sturdy new packaging, rules fixes, timing icons, reminder cards, and more; plus it's fully compatible with the first edition game and supplements. It's sure to delight even the most despondent Gloom fan! ## Features - 2-5 Players - 60 minute playing time - Compatible with first edition - New packaging, rules fixes, timing icons, reminder cards, and more ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | 1589781449 | | Age Range Description | 7+ | | Best Sellers Rank | #150,946 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #2,190 in Dedicated Deck Card Games | | Brand Name | Atlas Games | | Color | Multicoloured | | Container Type | Box | | Country of Publication | USA | | Customer Package Type | FFP | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (2,256) | | Edition | 2 | | Estimated Playing Time | 60 Minutes | | Global Trade Identification Number | 09781589781443 | | Grenre | Family | | Included Components | Cards | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 9.2 x 1.6 centimeters | | Item Dimensions L x W | 14L x 9.2W centimeters | | Item Type Name | card game | | Item Weight | 0.26 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Flat River Group | | Manufacturer Part Number | AG1350 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 13 years and up | | Material Type | Paper | | Model Name | Gloom 2nd Edition | | Model Number | AG1350 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 2 to 4 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Other Special Features of the Product | Portable | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Style | Original Packaging | | Set Name | Gloom 2nd Edition | | Size | zzzz-s | | Subject Character | Gloom Family | | Theme | Dark Tragedy | | UPC | 066325461902 | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** 7+ - **Brand:** Atlas Games - **Material:** Paper - **Number of players:** 2 to 4 - **Theme:** Dark Tragedy ## Images ![Atlas Games Gloom (2nd Edition) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Q+GeZfYHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Package Quantity, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Atlas Games Gloom (2nd Edition) - Atlas Gloom Unhappy Homes 2nd Edition - Gloom Unwelcome Guests 2nd Editon --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/292852278-atlas-games-gloom-2nd-edition](https://www.desertcart.no/products/292852278-atlas-games-gloom-2nd-edition) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
