**Q: what is to stop anyone entering the house and saying 'Alexa disarm the Ring alarm' ?**
A: When asking Alexa to disarm your system, you must use the PIN number you had to create during setup.

**Q: Does the basestation make a siren noise if the alarm is triggered?**
A: Yes it does. - It has a volume setting and by default is set to 75% so important to alert to your preferrerd state.

You can also get it to make a noise if motion is detected or a door/window opened.

E.g. I have it set to alert if door is opened when we are home encase one of the Children have done it whilst I am in another room e.t.c

**Q: Will I be able to use 1st gen components like motion detectors?**
A: Yes you can interchsnge all the 2nd and 1st gen contact and motion sensors.

**Q: are the motion detectors just detectors or cameras**
A: Just what they say they are... motion sensors. No cameras.
