That’s kind of an industrywide cut off point between “normal“ power versus what is generally considered to be high voltage. I would feel comfortable using it to test 480 V all day long. I would not use it over 600 V under any circumstances. **Q: Does it measure volts in millivolts in DC? How many digits does it show after the decimal?** A: Yes. 3 decimal points after whole volts. Comes with a pouch/carry case, accessories and batteries aswell. This multimeter is not very high tech but more than enough for all basic use. Clamp is big and easy to hold. Works perfectly fine and easy to understand for beginners. I already have couple multimeter from different companies and this one work as fine as other two. I must say that there should be one in every house just incase if you need to do some work.
