I am missing most of the lowercase and a few of the uppercase letters?

I'd send them back for new ones. Mine had all upper and lower case letters. They are very dangerous for little ones though. The magnets aren't very well installed in them and kids bite out the magnets. I ended up throwing mine away.

Are these small enough to fit inside an easter egg? for an easter egg letter scavenger hunt

Yes they would fit inside a typical plastic Easter egg
