He walks the reader through the several menus on the camera and made me much more comfortable as a result. I have since bought two other books on the 7100: Busch's Field Guide and Battdorf's From Snapshots to Great Shots. While discussing the same camera, all are a little different, all are valuable and all take a bit of a different approach. I'm just a little nuts like that I suppose. When you consider what you spent on the camera, the tri pod, the external flash, the bag and what you will spend on the 70-200mm VRII lens (and you will buy that eventually) the cost of these books is miniscule and the information is really valuable. I highly recommend Mastering the Nikon D7100.
