I couldn't have hoped for a better start beginning with this publication. What author makes oneself readily available for interaction with the reader of his book? Alex does just that! In the introduction of the text, Alex invites the readers' contact and communication with him, regarding feed back on the read. I ordered Alex's book because I am a first-time business class student with an assignment to research and report on pursuing a career climb objective or starting my own business. I took the approach of starting a business, so sought guidance in developing my proposal. After the first chapter's recommended exercise, Alex invites the reader to send the completed exercise to him for review and feedback. That is exactly what I did. I heard back from Alex the same day, and have had multiple exchanges with him since. Wow! It's like having a remote instructor at my fingertips! Furthermore, Alex's book is an easy to read, easy to understand, logically sequenced 9-Chapter guide with ongoing examples on how to envision one's business plan, starting with a simple 3-Sentence proposal. The book continues to guide one on expanding into a fully developed comprehensively developed business plan that takes into consideration the necessary financing and marketing of the business venture. Alex's 127 pages of instruction and modeling are far less intimidating to tackle than another publication of nearly 800-pages that I also purchased. Review: Great Tool for Organizing Your Business Ideas - I am still working through the steps in the book, but what I have done so far has been extremely helpful. I am applying these ideas to a 30-year-old successful business, and it's really helping us to identify our strengths and weaknesses, and determine where we need to apply focus. I appreciate the style of Mr. Genadinik's writing. The outlines are clear and concise, and it's an easy read. If I were starting from scratch, I think this would be an excellent tool to help organize one's ideas and focus. The best part - I actually took him up on his offer to email for help, and he really did get back to me with some great suggestions!!

I enjoyed Alex’s book and found it to be a good, concise overview to Business Planning. I just wish he had free Microsoft Office or Google Doc templates to leverage. Maybe his web site does offer those and I will check it out, but there’s no reference to them existing in this book that I remember.
