Review: Favorite author - Bought this for a first grade student who was struggling with anxiety. Was working with him and encouraging him to be brave. His parents appreciated the simplicity of the message, as I hoped. It gave him a tangible picture of being brave and that it didn’t mean problems might not be there...but that we have the ability to make something out of them and can overcome them if we choose. The art is amazing and also tells the same story as the words. Favorite author. This is for adults and kids. I loved it, even as an adult of two you d adults. Review: Lovely message - This story actually got my 2, almost 3 yo, to pause and think about the message. She's been struggling with handling her emotions and this story got her to pause and I could see the message really resonated with her! I want to look into the other stories in this series as well! We have the Maybe book and it's absolutely beautiful. Some of these images are on the dark side but it goes with the meaning of what a problem actually is! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #7,150 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #108 in Children's New Experiences Books #140 in Children's Self-Esteem Books #215 in Children's Books on Emotions & Feelings (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 3,446 Reviews | ## Images ![What Do You Do With a Problem? — New York Times best seller - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71y-GaqdTeL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Language, Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Favorite author *by R***L on February 24, 2021* Bought this for a first grade student who was struggling with anxiety. My husband and I were visiting and I asked him if we could work on a science kit together. My daughter suggested we work on a kit he had chosen for constructing and creating a chain reaction maze (one of many configurations that could be made with the kit). My grandson had been intimidated by all of the pieces and the instructions were just diagrams with no words and were challenging to follow. We had read the two books (one the night before and the second that morning). So I suggested that we take a change and figure out the problems together! Since the instructions were not clear, we made some mistakes that we figured out and corrected. Afterwards, my grandson kept talking about how he took a chance and that we solved a lot of problems to get the maze to work properly. I don't think he would have agreed to tackle the advanced construction kit had we not read those two books first! ## Frequently Bought Together - What Do You Do With a Problem? — New York Times best seller - What Do You Do With an Idea? — New York Times best seller - What Do You Do With a Chance? — New York Times best seller --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/28627935-what-do-you-do-with-a-problem-new-york-times](https://www.desertcart.no/products/28627935-what-do-you-do-with-a-problem-new-york-times) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
