Review: Good enough - Slower impact than petrolium jelly, but it's clean . Works well. If you need more than 1 adult gloves to break 1 bottle may not be enough. This is small Review: Glove Break-In Oil - I used this glove break-in oil to help break in my son’s and daughter’s baseball gloves, and it worked great! The oil softened the leather nicely without making it overly greasy or heavy, and it really helped speed up the break-in process. A nice bonus was that the package came with two large rubber bands, which were perfect for shaping and forming the glove properly after applying the oil. Even after using it several times, there’s still plenty of oil left in the bottle—it definitely goes a long way. Overall, this is a great value and a must-have for anyone looking to break in a new glove quickly and effectively. ## Features - Package length: 3.606 cm - Package width: 8.89 cm - Package height: 10.16 cm - Product Type: SPORTING GOODS ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07B9ZD8KZ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #71,404 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #63 in Baseball Bats | | Brand | Rawlings | | Brand Name | Rawlings | | Break-in Level | Ready-to-Play | | Color | Clear | | Colour | Clear | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,752 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00745492993989 | | Glove Type | Baseball/Softball | | Glove type | Baseball/Softball | | Hand Orientation | Left Hand Throw | | Hand orientation | Left Hand Throw | | Included Components | glove oil, application cloth, jumbo rubber band | | Item Type Name | Game Ready Break-In-Kit | | Item Weight | 0.28 Pounds | | Lining Description | Leather | | Manufacturer | Tanners Sporting Goods | | Manufacturer Part Number | GRBRKIT | | Material | Leather | | Material Type | Leather | | Model Number | GRBRKIT | | Model Year | 2015 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | One Size | | UPC | 745492993989 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rawlings - **Glove type:** Baseball/Softball - **Hand orientation:** Left Hand Throw - **Material:** Leather - **Size:** One Size ## Images ![Game Ready Glove Break-in Kit | Baseball/Softball | Includes Break-in Formula, Applicator Cloth, & Rubber Band - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51YLD8u-mJL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this work on all gloves, even not real leather?** A: I would not recommend this product to anyone! The fumes coming from a glove treated with this product are toxic! The fumes locked my lungs!!! **Q: Does it change the color of the glove?** A: Mine got slightly darker during the application but went back to the original color once it dried in. This was on a light grey glove. **Q: Is this a spray** A: This is a very light special oil for baseball gloves. It gets absorbed without oily residue. The wool piece of cloth works good to apply without wasting oil. Easy to use. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good enough *by E***I on 26 August 2025* Slower impact than petrolium jelly, but it's clean . Works well. Only knocked off one star as the oil does the job well with a microfibre cloth anyway, but I'd rather they just didn't provide a cloth if it's going to disintegrate immediately. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rawlings | GAME READY Glove Break-In Kit | Baseball/Softball | Includes Break-In Formula, Applicator Cloth, & Rubber Band - Rawlings | Player Preferred Adult Ball Glove | Baseball/Slowpitch Softball | Multiple Styles - Rawlings | Glove Mallet | Baseball/Softball | Break-In Aid --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/285107039-game-ready-glove-break-in-kit-baseball-softball-includes-break](https://www.desertcart.no/products/285107039-game-ready-glove-break-in-kit-baseball-softball-includes-break) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
