How on you verify yourself it's real Shungite?

One method, is shown on YouTube. Woman take a back button cap flashflight and removed cap. Places shungite, and operates flashlight. No idea if proper, but hope it helps. More vids on YT on it.

Is this meant to be worn around your neck as a necklace. I dont think the chain is big enough for my neck.

Recently, they have replaced the pendulum with a cross pendant, that is meant to be worn around the neck.
