**Q: are the files iso 9001 certified.**
A: No tools are ISO 9001 certified.

**Q: Can I have the pdf file in english? Also is this good for crystal/rock hardness?**
A: I can't answer about the pdf but the files are calibrated for Rockwell hardness for metals,  not Mohs scale for rock.

**Q: is the writing on the tool itself english or japanese?**
A: Our tool is in Japanese.
But we can send you a simple English document on how to use this tool in PDF.

**Q: Are these files good for measuring the hardness of soft steel such as hot or cold rolled or only good for tool hardened steel?**
A: The files only go down to 40 Rockwell C, so they won’t give you any information on mild steel. They can tell you if a hardenable steel arrives with any prehardening, meaning you have to temper it before machining.
