Chocolate SunButter

....You probably won't like this. Even though sugar is the second ingredient, it is markedly less sweet and much more chocolatey than Nutella, which I despise for its cloying sweetness. A couple of people found it "bitter" which would be somewhat accurate because it tastes like chocolate, not the sugar that most people like, hence why I love this product. It's also the best price as a general rule. Highly recommended if you like sunflower seeds and strong, dark chocolate flavors.

I am absolutely in love with Chocolate SunButter! This delightful spread has become a staple in my household, and I can't rave about it enough. It combines the perfect blend of rich cocoa and savory sunflower butter, creating a taste that is truly out of this world. Having been a Nutella fan for years, I was hesitant to try something new, but Chocolate SunButter has completely won me over! Not only is it more flavorful, but it also provides a healthier alternative. Unlike Nutella, which relies heavily on palm oil and sugar, Chocolate SunButter's ingredients are more natural and nutritious. It's a guilt-free indulgence that I can enjoy every day without feeling weighed down or unhealthy. The texture is just as satisfying as the taste - it's smooth and creamy, making it incredibly easy to spread on toast, waffles, or even fruit. I've also used it as a dip for pretzels and as a frosting for cupcakes, and it never disappoints. It's versatile and can elevate any snack or dessert. Another aspect that I truly appreciate is that Chocolate SunButter is allergy-friendly, as it's free of tree nuts and peanuts. This makes it a wonderful option for those with food allergies or anyone looking for a more inclusive treat to share with friends and family. In summary, Chocolate SunButter has become my new favorite spread, and it has effortlessly dethroned Nutella in my pantry. It's a delicious, nutritious, and versatile treat that I cannot recommend highly enough. If you're on the fence about trying it, trust me - you won't be disappointed! Five stars all the way!

I bought the SunButter Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter as a nut-free option because my child’s school is nut-free, and we needed a safe alternative to Nutella. It’s been a great substitute for lunches and snacks. The texture is smooth, easy to spread, and the chocolate flavor is rich enough that my kids enjoy it without feeling like they’re missing out. I also like that it’s plant-based and has some protein, which makes it feel like a more filling option than many sweet spreads. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that you can still taste the sunflower seed flavor slightly, so it’s not exactly like chocolate hazelnut spread. But overall it’s a really good nut-free alternative, and I’ll keep buying it.

My daughter loves Nutella, but I don't love that it doesn't have a lot of protein and that it is loaded with sugar. I started buying this, and I do 1/2 Nutella and 1/2 chocolate SunButter. She loves it and I am happy that she has more protein in her diet. It is expensive, but I can't get her to eat peanut butter, so for me, this is totally worth it. The spread is great, and it is easy to get onto toast or to eat with apples and bananas as a dip.

Really not a good chocolate taste at all. Not sweet. Only brown color no chocolate flavor. Wouldn’t buy again but the other flavor in honey was very good.

I don't like it. Maybe I just bought a bad jar. But, it's bitter and gross. I've always loved every kind of nut butter, sunflower seed butter and chocolate nut butters, but not this. UGH! I don't recommend. Had to throw mine out. It's a food item, so you can't get a refund or anything. I see now that other reviewers didn't like this flavor either. I purchased this because of the great reviews and then I realized that this is just one of Amazon's TRICKS that I've always hated. The high rating is NOT for the Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter. It is for the OTHER flavors. They lump the reviews all together, so you're fooled into thinking you're purchasing a great product, when it's FAR FROM! They do this on a lot of products and I wish they would stop it, because it just costs customers a lot of wasted time & money. I do not recommend this item! Thank you for reading my review.

I purchased this due to my recent dietary restrictions, I've been craving something chocolatey that was low on carbs & nut-free. I had never heard of sunflower seed butter before but I figured it would be nice to give it a shot. I'm very glad that I did! I want to be clear! This isn't sweet, if what you craving is something like a hersey's kiss that is not what this is. The unsweetened cocoa makes this more akin to a dark chocolate treat, with a slight bitterness to it. But the texture is very smooth and it was great on toast. Most importantly it for sure satisfied that craving for something rich and indulgent! I would for sure get this again (and I think I just might)

Best thing since slice bananas - LOL. Actually, my new favorite way to eat my morning banana is to drizzle some of this over it. Got tired or "peanut" butter and this is my new go to item. Wonderful stuff!
