**Q: Has anyone else experienced this? "buzzes like an old CRT in the high frequency near audible range"**
A: Had this for a few days.  Best AP UI has made.  Double the range for sure.  NO is does not hum.  It is dead silent.  See my video.

**Q: Is there a way for the blue light to be dimmed? It’s super bright at night.**
A: In the controller, you can turn off the light.

**Q: Why is this so much over the $179 msrp on unifi's site?**
A: To be fair, the current price on this item on Amazon ($216) isn't terrible, and it arrives in 2 days if you have Prime with free shipping.  I just ordered this same AP from Ubiquiti direct, paid $204 with tax and shipping and it took a week to arrive.  So if you need it immediately and/or it is out of stock on the Ubiquiti site, this is a decent alternative.

**Q: can it be installed on new contruction ?**
A: Yes
You need a network and a poe router To set it up fir it to work.
