I recently purchased the Digital Angle Finder Protractor and let me tell you, it has quickly become an indispensable tool in my woodworking arsenal. This angle measuring tool is an absolute game-changer, making precise measurements a breeze and significantly improving the accuracy of my projects. First, let's talk about the build quality. The enhanced ABS construction gives the tool a sturdy and durable feel, ensuring that it can withstand the rigors of a busy workshop. The 7-inch/200mm ruler is perfectly sized for a wide range of applications, making it versatile enough for both large and small projects. The digital display is where this angle finder truly shines. The readings are clear, accurate, and incredibly easy to read. The backlit display is a fantastic feature, especially when working in dimly lit areas. It allows me to effortlessly obtain accurate measurements without any guesswork, saving me time and frustration. Another aspect that impressed me is the inclusion of two batteries. Having spare batteries right out of the box is a thoughtful addition, eliminating the disappointment of running out of power during a project. Plus, the battery life is impressive, lasting for a significant amount of time before needing replacement. What I love most about this tool is its versatility. Whether it's measuring angles, determining miter cuts, or verifying the precision of an existing angle, the Digital Angle Finder Protractor excels in every aspect. It effortlessly converts between degrees and radians, making it the perfect tool for any woodworking, carpentry, construction, or DIY projects. Lastly, I must mention the outstanding customer service I experienced when dealing with the seller. They were prompt, courteous, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction with their product. Such exceptional service goes a long way and only adds to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Digital Angle Finder Protractor to all woodworkers, carpenters, and DIY enthusiasts. This tool has revolutionized the way I work, offering precise measurements with ease. Its durable construction, clear digital display, and versatility make it a must-have addition to any workshop. Do yourself a favor and invest in this fantastic angle measuring tool - it's worth every penny!

Overall, I'm pleased with this. I measured the outside angle of my machinist square and it was only 0.2 degrees off. Not bad. I actually liked the plastic rulers--they move very smoothly which might not happen with the stainless steel ones. They don't move easily, so you can get away without pressing hold, but but the hold button is nice and one of the reasons I chose this one. The inverted display function is nice, but not so necessary when you have the hold button. A caution about the ruler--you can't butt the end against something and measure from there--it's obvious you can't with the English side, but it looks like you can with the metric, but if you look closely, you'll notice the first tick mark is slightly more than a mm. Frankly, I don't plan on using the ruler--I have stainless steel rules already. The only thing I don't like is that although it has an on/off button, which is great, it auto turns on! Why, when you have an on/off button? I was worried about how sensitive it is to turning on (plan on storing in a drawer) and found it only turns on once you've moved it a fair amount, which is good. That got me wondering: how can you have the microcontroller off and only have it power on once the angle is moved a fair amount (you think it would turn on as soon as the chip handling the digital conversion updated it's output)? My concern is it's not really "off"--it just blanks the display. I have a digital caliper that is that way and I have to keep it stored with the battery removed to keep it from killing the battery. Time will tell if that's the case--the battery won't last long. If so, I'll update review and remove a star. One more note: there's a "quality control" sticker on the other side. The OCD in me wanted to remove it, but it's there to cover up some screws, and more importantly, the axle the thing rides on. I didn't want dirt getting in there, so I put it back on.

Works well

Accurate and easy to use. The digital display is clear, and it makes measuring angles much faster for woodworking and construction projects. Lightweight but still feels durable, and the included batteries were a nice bonus.

It worked good on my project. No issues with the seller or item.

When I first got this it worked fine. Used it many times for a project that required good accuracy, but not to nearest degree. But after the project was done, it sat for 2 or 3 months and when I tried it again, it was totally crazy. I'd zero it when closed, and then started to open it up to achieve a 45 degree angle. But just after I started to open it, it suddenly jumped to 500 degrees, then jumped back to 140 and so on. So, shut it off, waited a short time, tried it again. Same result. Today I turned it on and with no moving of the arms it the readings starting jumping all around crazily. So clear the electronics were failing badly and it's totally useless. I wonder if other have had this issue.

Seems to do the job well enough for carpentry and small woodworking projects. Good price. Soon after I got it, something got loose and there was a good 5-10 degrees of slop: the ruler would move but the angle readout wouldn’t change. This made it difficult to get an accurate measurement. I scrapped it for a few months, kicking myself for buying cheap, no-name tools again. At some point I realized I could open up the back, where there had been a sticker or something. This revealed four tiny screws. Several were clearly loose. After tightening these screws, which took no more than a minute or two (see picture,) it worked well again. I didn’t use anything (thread lock. Nail polish, etc.) to secure the screws. It would have taken much longer to return this and buy another one, and I suspect that this problem plagues other similar models - I would possibly have had to do it again regardless.
