Rust-Oleum Milk Paint Quart

This paint is as expected….high quality, easy to apply with a nice matte finish.

Color was perfect, application was even better! Will definitely buy again.

It's dark grey colour. We applied to our main door (Raw wood). It was like a faded black in the first coat. It looked light grey after 2nd coat. Eventually, it changed complete dark grey colour after 3 coats painted. Awesome look. However, needed to apply minimum 3 coats to get the desired look. So we have rated 4*

The paint applies smoothly with a brush or roller and has a nice creamy consistency that levels well. It creates a soft, velvety matte finish with a subtle brushed texture that gives pieces a modern farmhouse or vintage feel. Coverage was good on both painted and lightly sanded surfaces, and clean-up was simple with soap and water. The quart size was sufficient for a couple of medium projects with some left over. The only minor drawbacks are that it can show brush strokes if not applied carefully on larger flat surfaces, and the drying time is a bit longer in humid conditions. I’ll update after a couple of months to report on long-term durability, scratch resistance, and how well the finish holds up with regular use and cleaning. This is a user-friendly milk paint that delivers a beautiful matte brushed effect with easy application and minimal prep. It’s a good choice for quick furniture makeovers or decorative projects. I’d recommend it for DIYers looking for a low-prep, matte finish paint with a soft, textured look.
