In Fla and we have fleas year round. I placed it on my dogs neck between his shoulder blades and then two more spots down his spine towards his tail but not at his tail. 24 hours later and no fleas! I am shocked. Seller is very coy about the flea life cycle stages this product can target. Product will not kill any fleas in a pupae (cocoon) state which is usually 10% of the infestation according to some study done in 2006. However, killing the majority of your fleas is a good starting point. Vacuum regularly and treat your pets accordingly if you want to knock these suckers out. Vet recommended Revolution for my two cats which seems to be doing the trick. If your infestation is apocalyptic, YouTube has some decent d.i.y. tips as well. Finally, you can never go wrong with "Seresto" flea collars if money isn't an obstacle.
