Crafted from renewable bamboo, this steamer delivers restaurant-quality dumplings, vegetables, and fish at home, combining authentic design with effortless use and easy cleanup. ## Description Fact: dumplings are best served piping hot and fresh from the steamer, not wilted and lukewarm from a takeout container. With this three-tier bamboo steamer, you can skip the wilted take out and recreate the restaurant experience at home. Steamers such as these have been used by chefs for thousands of years because they’re easy to use and they consistently turn out delicious meals. Just fill and stack the steamer in a wok with a little water. Fish comes out perfectly flaky, and veggies retain a bit of bite. Best of all, cleanup is easy with a damp, soapy sponge. ## Features - Time-tested method for creating restaurant-style dishes at home, including dumplings, veggies, and fish - Two tiers to cook several dishes or servings at a time - So simple to use: place in a pan of water and heat - Made with traditional bamboo, which is also a renewable resource - Dimensions: 10.00 in L x 10.00 in W x 6.00 in H ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0001VQIYU | | Best Sellers Rank | #107,533 in Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Kitchen ) #236 in Steamers | | Brand Name | JOYCE CHEN | | Capacity | 600 cubic inches | | Color | Natural | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (3,076) | | Finish Type | Natural | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00048002260138 | | Included Components | Joyce Chen 2-Tier Bamboo Steamer Baskets, 10-Inch | | Is Oven Safe | No | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | No | | Item Diameter | 10 Inches | | Item Dimensions | 25.4 x 25.4 x 15.2 centimeters | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Type Name | Joyce Chen 2-Tier Bamboo Steamer Baskets, 10-Inch | | Item Weight | 907 g | | Lid Material | Bamboo | | Manufacturer | JOYCE CHEN | | Material | Bamboo Steamer 10-Inch | | Model Number | J26-0013 | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Part Number | J26-0013 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | UPC | 887665634401 048002260138 719918345386 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | With Lid | Yes | ## Product Details - **Brand:** JOYCE CHEN - **Colour:** Natural - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 25.4 x 25.4 x 15.2 centimeters - **Material:** Bamboo Steamer 10-Inch - **Shape:** Round ## Images ![2-Tier Bamboo Steamer Baskets, 10-Inch - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61I71mz20PL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this be used in a microwave?** A: I have a couple of these in different brands. One has wire tying the laps together and I can't recall which one it is. If it's 100% bamboo then I don't see why it couldn't be used in the microwave. Other than the fact that you're not steaming at that point. Kinda defeats the whole purpose, if you ask me. **Q: is this 100% bamboo?** A: Yes it is 100% Bamboo. **Q: After receiving this item, did you notice a chemical stench? Does it seem to be varnished or coated with anything?** A: Not the one I received **Q: I have yet to purchase this Joyce Chen Bamboo Steamer and wonder how you make sure that it is cleaned properly after use,** A: It's literally self cleaning. Hot water and steam will kill all bacteria, if you're still concerned then I'd take a small bristle brush and gently scrub ## Frequently Bought Together - Joyce Chen 2-Tier Bamboo Steamer Baskets, 10-Inch - 100 PCS Bamboo Steamer Liner, 10" Round Air Fryer Parchment Paper with Holes, White Anti-Stick Steamer Paper - Helen’s Asian Kitchen Premium Bamboo Steamer Ring – 11-Inch Aluminum Steam Adapter for 10-Inch Bamboo Steamer Baskets.
