Review: Pricey but super reliable and useful - If you’re running multiple GoPros this is a real must have. Battery life has been consistently strong and I use this kayaking where it’s gotten beaten on by sun for hours at a time. Simple use and pairing is generally painless process that only takes 10-15 seconds from turning both the GoPro and remote on to connecting to each other. Have tested the range up to about 30 feet thus far without issue, perhaps without any interference it may go further. Relatively easy to switch between different cameras. Using on multiple GoPro 10s. Have not had any problems with using in mild rain or getting wet since I’ll wear it on my wrist paddling. Haven’t submerged it but really no reason to test that case. Worth the money, bought after market remotes that don’t connect or pair and just are complete wastes. Review: If you have multiple GoPro's, get it - This remote is a fantastic tool that I use to multi-cam my GoPros. I have 2 hero 12s and a Hero Max 360 and they can all talk to the remote. I have yet to test it outside of a moving car, but I used it on my scooter with all my cameras and it did a great job. I haven't dug around in the settings too much yet, I remember the old remote could change video quality and stuff, not sure if this one can do it. It was a pricey buy, but I think it's well worth the money. ## Features - Bluetooth Low Energy improves the battery life of both The Remote and the camera that it's connected to while also improving pairing over previous GoPro remotes[1] - Large high-resolution screen makes it easy to check camera status - Large tactile buttons give you easy control of camera functions - Rugged design is wearable, mountable and waterproof to 16ft (5m)[2] - Range up to 196ft (60m) in optimal conditions - Controls up to 5 cameras at a time - Includes a convenient wrist strap that also lets you attach The Remote to grips, handle bars and gear ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08SHZ2BL3 | | Additional Features | Waterproof | | Battery Type | Lithium-Ion Polymer | | Best Sellers Rank | #176 in Camera & Camcorder Remote Controls | | Brand | GoPro | | Built-In Media | The Remote, Wrist Strap, USB-C Cable | | Button Quantity | 4 | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | HERO12 Black/HERO11 Black/HERO10 Black/HERO9 Black/MAX/HERO8 Black | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Controller Type | Button Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,654 Reviews | | External Testing Certification | Não aplicável | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00818279021820 | | Item Highlight | Includes GoPro The Remote, wrist strap and USB-C cable for control, mounting and charging | | Item Type Name | Accessory | | Item Weight | 100 g | | Manufacturer | GoPro Camera | | Max Number of Supported Devices | 5 | | Maximum Number of Supported Devices | 5 | | Maximum Range | 60 meters | | Mfr Part Number | ARMTE-003 | | Model Name | The Remote | | Model Number | ARMTE-003 | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Special Feature | Waterproof | | UPC | 818279021820 779422283925 | | Warranty Description | Limited Lifetime Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GoPro - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** HERO12 Black/HERO11 Black/HERO10 Black/HERO9 Black/MAX/HERO8 Black - **Max Number of Supported Devices:** 5 - **Special Feature:** Waterproof ## Images ![GoPro The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JNW+Fgi7L.jpg) ![GoPro The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718ESThGprL.jpg) ![GoPro The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61wohVfUD6L.jpg) ![GoPro The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mT+CWzNcL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work with a GoPro 360 Max?** A: Yes.
