**Q: May I use this to add a subwoofer to an old 2 channel receiver?  Receiver only has 4 speaker level outputs (A&B).**
A: And the answer is YES. Sorry for the wait, but I had to wait for the reply from my GEEK friend who installed this item.

**Q: Will it still work without the control knob?**
A: Yes but why? That knob is extremely beneficial and is the reason I chose this converter.

**Q: where does the bass level knob connect? the amp or the converter....pic doen't show**

**Q: I need to run audio from a stereo receiver via 14 gauge speaker wire into another stereo receiver.  Is this device what I need?**
A: Yes, this device should work to turn the high powered output into a normal signal-level output that you could run to a receiver.
