My son is very independent and likes to eat by himself, but he's still not able to use a spoon. This is the perfect solution, I can fill the squooshi packs and hand it to him. Since he goes through about 3 in one sitting, this makes it less expensive also. You can puree your own fruits/veggies and squoosh them into the refillable packs. It was tricky in the beginning learning how to get the food in the packs without air bubbles. But once you master it, its really easy to do and easy to wash. The zippers on the bottom of the packs are tough, and haven't gotten easier with use, but you dont want the zipper opening during use, so its not a bad thing :) Overall, its a great product!! Review: If you’re thinking of buying it, do it! - Product is pretty great. The quality of the plastic is thick and heavy duty. The only thing I had trouble with was, when adding yogurt, if it has fruit bits in it, it won’t go through the valve. So mash/cut the fruit smaller or go no fruit. Not a dealbreaker though. Pouches were easy to hook up and they feel very durable. I feel it’s overall a great value for the price. Easy use and easy clean up. Would highly recommend.
