Can I listen Salsa, would I be able to pick the music?

Yes! Works with all music. Best with music with bass. Lots of dancers use it too.

Has anyone hooked this up to a home audio system? I have a nice surround set up and was wondering if and how this could interface with it. Thank you

it has 2 aux ports...one for the input so the subpac can pump bass into your back and the other for headphones. you dont need to use the headphone jack but i dont know if youll be able to hear your home audio if its plugged into the subpac

Is good for Deaf community?
