Nuwave Smart Air Purifier, Includes 8 Additional HEPA/Carbon Combo Filters

Works amazing for my really bad allergies. Didn't think it would filter much more than my expensive home HVAC system but I was surprised how much more allergies it filtered out the air. Worth the money if you have bad allergies... especially with all the replacement filters that came with the one I ordered.

I have two of these and the dust and hair it picks up even though I clean and brush the animals is great. I highly recommend buying the cover that goes over the bottom and side vents. You have to buy it on the nuwave website.

Purchased with extra filters early April 2025 and was not difficult to assemble. Seems well made and relatively quiet on lower speeds. I have been using it on 'auto' for setting so it does move to higher speeds at times and will definitely hear it at higher speeds. 2100 sq ft house in rural area next to farming field (soy beans this year) and placed in rarely used living room. I have noticed a reduction in dust since using. I haven't noticed much of an increase in electricity use (I do track monthly KWH) so it is fairly efficient. Using for 4 months 24/7 with zero problems. I have not received a warning light to clean the filters after 4 months so I am planning on cleaning filters on first of the month so I can't comment on cleaning. Time will tell on longevity. Kind of pricey (at least for me) but I am satisfied with the purchase.

NOT PLEASED at all I can't just return for a replacement when a defective one was sent and have to wait for it to be returned and checked out to even start the refund that could take another 4-10 days depending on how you pd for it! That could be 30 days wait and who has another $800 with the extra warranty to order another before the refund is in your account! anyone know how to get ahold of nuwave, just found an email and it sounds like you pay all shipping to them and back if it needs fixed and also if it's something not under their warranty they charge you to fix it! GLAD I ORDERED AN EXPENSIVE GOOD ONE! Mine did not clean the air at all, it was like a fan was running and made it very hard for me to breathe so was sending it back just 4 days after we got it as it never worked no matter the setting or the spot we put it in the same open room! I'm sending it back and won't order another now knowing they don't offer just to replace it and now can't even order a different one! Going to call nuwave & see what they say too before I sent it back! UPDATE 10/31/24 been just over the 30 day window & this cleaner still doesn't make the air smell fresh & my filters stayed clean like it was never used! kept it thinking I could get ahold of nuwave & they'd do something on it never working but can't find a phone number to call and email is all you find getting ahold of them! Anyone find a number to call them directly???

Really quiet on low. We keep it in the corner of a large room on auto. Usually never hear it but once in a while (cooking, etc) we’ll hear the fan spin up. It’s noticeable then, but also a good reminder that it’s working! Haven’t had it for long but happy so far. Picked this one because it was rated the best purifier by the review site Rtings.

So far it’s been working great, I always have trouble breathing when I get home from work. Always needing to take breathing treatments to get air in my lungs but ever since this bad boy I have been breathing like I have 2 lungs again. Feels awesome it’s a bit loud on 6 but hey gotta get that good suck to clean the air I guess. So far only other complaint is it doesn’t seemed to be clearing out VOCs in my house according to my Air quality meter which I hope it would.

Works great at keeping the air clean, and pollen free. Pros: I have noticed that I'm finding much less dust while cleaning the main level where the unit is. The unit's washable filters are easy to clean. Cons: The initial cost is high. At full fan speed the unit can be load if trying to listen something else near by. (We set the fan speed to low during the day, and auto at night.) Tip: If you have pets that shed, get two of the optional fabric outer covers/filters that cover the bottom intake. It will capture the fur and extend the time between cleaning the first filter due to the fur.

After about 8 weeks it went into dirty air mode. Despite checking filters and cleaning the sensor, it will not reset to clean.
