It is very thick and tense, so she struggled with it at first, but got the hang of it and it's been really good to help with her muscle strength and fine motor skills, which have improved her writing. She has played with this every day for months. WARNING: Do NOT let it get on fabric, carpet etc. It's fine on hard surfaces but it will NOT come out if it gets on fabric.
