Review: I found that longer knives are better to do in two parts - These have given some really ordinary knives a bit of an extraordinary keenness. However, I found that longer knives are better to do in two parts. The angles get smaller the further the hones are away from the jig that holds the knife. It is better to keep the angle similar throughout the process. Hence, better to break the job into parts. There are enough rods to set all the required hones up first, then get into the task of sharpening. A good product.
Review: Pour les finitions ... - J'ai acheté cette pierre pour compléter mon kit Lansky. Elle est de très bonne qualité et permet de fignoler le travail à l’extrême. Son grain, pour moi, correspond à quelque chose entre le grain 1500 et le grain 2000. Rien à dire , bon matériel mais pas forcément indispensable ... Si vous avez trouvé ce commentaire utile ... These have given some really ordinary knives a bit of an extraordinary keenness. However, I found that longer knives are better to do in two parts. The angles get smaller the further the hones are away from the jig that holds the knife. It is better to keep the angle similar throughout the process. Hence, better to break the job into parts. There are enough rods to set all the required hones up first, then get into the task of sharpening. A good product.
