Bentoheaven Bento Box Adult, Stackable Lunch Box, 40 oz, Outer Space

My husband surprisingly likes this and it has held up for the past like 10 months just fine. He uses it twice a week when he goes to his office to work and it A) holds enough food B) has never leaked and C) has a pretty good seal so his chips, etc doesn’t get stale if I pack it the night before. The only sign of wear and tear is that the brand name printed on the top lid has pretty much rubbed off which we’re not mad about lol. The divider is a nice touch, too. I wouldn’t pack straight up soup in it but we have definitely put wet items in (like pasta salad) and there was no spillage in the village. There have been times when I wish it was just SLIGHTLY deeper so that I could fit a sauce container (from a different brand) into it but that’s my own gripe. The product is great.

I have had these bento boxes for almost 5 years now and just thought I’d come back and leave a review. They’re all in really good condition after being used almost every week day that entire time. I love the venting feature. You just pull the vent up when you’re ready to heat and there is almost nothing that won’t heat up within 2 minutes, and it allows you to keep the lid on while heating so you avoid messes. I highly recommend buying the corresponding lunch bag. They fit perfectly in there. You can fit 2 in at a time with room for a drink or an extra snack or put 3 in. I love that both my husband and I know that these boxes are dedicated to my lunch, so I know that any leftovers I’ve put in there are ready for me to grab and take to work. I don’t use any other containers and have on occasion used them for soup. I’m really picky with my lunch bag and like anything efficient, so it’s high praise that I haven’t wanted anything else in almost 5 years.

I picked this up because twice now I’ve had a hinge snap on the lid of my previous bento boxes, and I wanted something without that point of failure. This is a great bento for the price, especially since it can go in the dishwasher! Most of the traditional boxes require hand washing, but this one does not. I’ve seen folks saying it’s small, but portion size across two containers is more than enough for an adult lunch. For reference, the bottle in the picnic table photo is 32oz, not a 16.9oz regular water bottle. It holds A LOT if you pack with care. I wouldn’t pack soup in it, but I’ve had no issues with saucy things. Silicone muffin cups fit inside it no problem if you need additional separation for foods. Lids still close just fine. The lids are inset, so you can’t pack foods that are taller than the boxes, but as long as everything fits neatly inside it, you’re good to go. There is room in the carry bag for a thin cold pack if you want to add extra chill to your box. The utensils are small, but functional. I’ve had no difficulty using them. Also love that this one comes with a set of chopsticks. The strap is just a piece of elastic that goes around both boxes, and all you have to do is slide it on. It’s a snug fit, but I recommend putting it in the carry bag for additional security anyway. I’ve had no problems putting it in my backpack and carrying it this way. Great box, easy to transport, no leak issues for me. I’m super happy with this.

This bento box set is really good and I enjoy using them very much. I work from 4:30 am to 1:00 pm in a garbage department in my hometown and it comes in handy. Since I’m always on the road, I can choose to buy something to eat during work, but overtime it becomes expensive and I don’t want to eat out all the time. But this set is really good because not only does it come with 2 bento boxes, 4 utensils and a small box, but it’s convenient for what I eat, especially during work. The only downside I would say is to make sure you pack the right food because a few times I decide to pack a lot of food and next thing you know, it doesn’t fit. If you’re planning on bringing specific food, just plan ahead for any inconveniences. It’s also easy to clean and the lids seal very tightly, ensuring the food doesn’t spoil or spill.

Okay so first I have to say that this is a really small container. As you can see from the picture it is about the length and width of my hand and the height is just over half of my hand. It is a decent case but I would definitely not call it the highest quality at all. First I will state the good things about it which are that it comes with utensils which seem to be sturdy enough made out of plastic. The second thing would be that it does close well and I like that it looks very elegant. Now for the cons. As I already stated it is Very small. Also it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to get the top off and I thought that if I had put food in here it would be impossible to get it off without spilling. I finally figured out that you don't open it by the tabs on the sides but there is one corner that lip is over just slightly and that's where you're supposed to pull it up. I can't imagine you would be able to fit more than the equivalent of a sandwich in one part and a very small salad or some fruit in another. Also the separator that comes with it does not sit in the container tightly at all it slips around. I am going to try to correct this by gluing a small piece of foam to either end of the separator to hold it more firmly in place or see what else I can do. This is a good container for a very small lunch or a snack but that's about it. All together I'm not sure that I would recommend this for an adult. Maybe for a kid for their school lunch it might be adequate depending on how much they eat. For that reason I couldn't give it more than three stars. It's not enough of a hassle for me to return it since I can use it to put if not my lunch, other than a light lunch on a day when I may not be that hungry, than maybe some snacks at least. Definitely would not purchase this again but I won't go to the trouble of returning it either.

Easy to clean and travel with, overall it's a solid, compact lunchbox/Bento set. I love that it comes with a fork, spoon, knife and chopsticks that can be stored within the Bento itself, it would be easy to store napkins and other small things in. Nice divider and mini/sauce container as well. I definitely recommend it. It heats up food fairly well, just remember to lift the steam seal.

Great design and everything you need in a lunchbox. I was sick of paying $10-15 everyday for lunch so resolved to BYO each day. After a week it had already paid for itself. Leftovers are easily packed and ready in the fridge for the next day to be heated in the microwave. Fits lunch and snacks and comes with all the cutlery you need - perfect.
