Since 1939, when Duralex invented the glass tempering process, the name Duralex has been associated with resilient glassware, thanks to their proprietary tempering process. The original tempered (toughened) picardie glasses are still in production in France and are known as the “original french tumblers.” The picardie glass is the perfect weight: functional yet stylish and feels extremely comfortable in the hand. They are equally suitable for cold or hot drinks, conveniently stackable, impact and chip resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe. With the help of continuous investments and commitment to quality, Duralex has reached a level of excellence that makes its products recognized throughout the world. Duralex is and will always remain a true french manufacturer of glassware and tabletop products, and is the only glass manufacturer that makes 100-percent of their products in France. Cleaning :Wash before use. Soak the dish in soapy water for 20 minutes. Do not use metallic sponges, pads, powders or abrasives. To remove hard water stains, try vinegar. If this doesn't work, we suggest trying a hard water product called LemiShine which can be found at the local grocery store. Then trying soaking your glassware in LemiShine and warm water. ## Features - Le Gigogne set includes 6 pieces of stackable clear bowls. Using daily for soup/salad… Don’t know how we existed without them. A really good purchase bc we truly needed them. If you need: this is a solid product at a solid price. I am very pleased! I like this size. And, I’d enjoy the next size up, too. Don’t suggest sizing down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong, simple and attractive *by on Reviewed in the United States December 10, 2023* I have had these bowls for years and only now needed to replace some. They are a great size for soup, salad or cereal. They clean easily, store easily and do not break easily. They are sturdy, dependable and last forever. They are dishwasher safe and will go with anything. They are our go to bowl for cereal every day. They may not be elegant, but they are certainly serviceable and we are very happy with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the classic french bowl *by on Reviewed in the United States November 26, 2025* I have had these a while and moved between states but these have not chipped or cracked. They get dropped once in a while two. The classic french bowls, they come in different sizes. This is a great size for salads, soups and generous portions of cereal. I saw reviews in which people disliked the raised letters on the inside of the bottom of the bowl. I thought I might think so too, but rarely even notice they are there. I hand wash my dishes and there is no collection of food or extra attention needed at those spots. ## Frequently Bought Together - Duralex Glass Made In France Lys 6-3/4-Inch Stackable Clear Bowl, Set of 6 - Duralex Made In France Lys 7 1/2 Inch Clear Dessert Plate, Set of 6 - Duralex - Lys Clear Dinner Plate 23,5 cm (9 1-4 in) Set Of 6 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/2691684-duralex-le-gigogne-stackable-clear-bowl-1-quart-32-ounces](https://www.desertcart.no/products/2691684-duralex-le-gigogne-stackable-clear-bowl-1-quart-32-ounces) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
