I looked at the different 22" hedge trimmers and discovered something about this one that I really wanted. The button on top to help with jams. I liked my last hedge trimmer(which was still working but I gave it to my daughter in law who did not have one) The only downfall was that when it got jammed I would have to stop and unjam it. With the button I could work out the jam without stopping. I was sold! The one that I bought came with a 20v battery(1.5 size) and a charger. I plugged the battery in to the charger and it was fully charged in less than two hours. I like that the chargers and batteries are small. I also like that the light flashes while it's charging and then is a steady light when it's fully charged.I did have to put the handle and the guard on. The instructions said that the screws were partly in the unit and to unscrew them. MIne were fully in and tightened and sort of hard to get out. I was afraid I was going to strip the screws, but carefully removed them and then screwed in the handle and guard. It really only took me a few minutes. The trimmer fits in my hands well and the weight balances out to give me control. I am a short older female and I had no problem managing this tool.I tried it out this morning and it cuts like my bushes were butter. So easy! I love the 22" size because it's big enough that you can finish a job quickly but not so big that you can not round out bushes that need to be rounded. It was easy to work with and I felt fit in my hands. There is a thing you push in to release the safety and then you can press the button to keep the blades cutting. You only have to press that in when you first start it and there is one on each side so if it works better for you if you are left or right handed it makes getting started easier. The button to release a jam is right on top so you do not have to turn it off. The button releases the jam by slowing down the action so it can either cut through or allow you to move the trimmer.I do not have a lot to trim, and my battery had no slow down while I was using it. I can't wait to go out and trim again. What a great new toy. Totally work paying a little more for the added feature.Very Happy with my PurchaseThanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Optimal Portability Meets Functional Intelligence *by on Reviewed in the United States November 19, 2025* The BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Hedge Trimmer (LHT321FF) is a meticulously engineered garden tool that expertly leverages the freedom of cordless operation without sacrificing necessary cutting power. For the homeowner or landscape enthusiast managing moderate-to-large yards, this tool represents a significant upgrade in both convenience and performance efficiency. The 20V MAX Lithium-Ion battery system is the core functional component. It provides substantial run-time sufficient for completing extensive perimeter maintenance on a single charge, critically eliminating the planning and hazard associated with managing extension cords. The 22-inch blade offers an ideal balance of reach and maneuverability, ensuring that large sections can be cleared quickly while still allowing for the precise sculpting of intricate topiary and shaping work. However, the standout innovation is the Power Command Powercut feature. This is a game-changer for maintaining consistent workflow. When the blade encounters thicker, denser branches that would typically stall a standard cordless unit, the user can engage the Powercut button, which briefly increases torque to cleanly sever the blockage without jamming the motor. This avoids the disruptive cycle of stopping, clearing the jam, and restarting, effectively transforming a frustrating impediment into a minor pause. The lightweight design and ergonomic handle further contribute to reduced fatigue during prolonged use, making the entire trimming process less physically taxing. This trimmer is a highly recommended tool for its combination of cordless freedom, cutting length, and intelligent anti-jam technology. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of my Best purchases EVER-Deserves 6 stars! *by on Reviewed in the United States November 3, 2019* I am exceptionally happy with this hedge trimmer and cannot recommend it highly enough! It offers Extremely effective cutting, is light and Easy to handle, has a long battery life, theres no cord or gas involved, its fairly priced and, a serious time saver.- it takes me 1/4 the time of hand cutting.Three years ago, I planted many gorgeous bougainvillea which are prolific and have killer thorns. I bought this because even hand trimming them regularly, the bougainvillea were growing out of control. I started trimming two days ago and am thrilled with how easy this trimmer was to get going and use, how beautifully it cuts and shapes, its power, the fact that its light and will cut through rather thick branches and, has already saved me many hours of time.. My bougainvillea have not looked this nicely groomed in a while. This would not be for everyone.... but, in case its helpful to you. I've successfully trimmed the grass (weeds) in my small yard with this tool, it worked very well, saved me the expense of hiring someone and, was a serious workout.I am particular, on a budget and 62 years old. I cannot recommend this hedge trimmer highly enough. Buy it!!! And,Thank you Amazon for this product! ## Frequently Bought Together - BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Hedge Trimmer with Power Command Powercut, 22-Inch (LHT321FF) - BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* POWERCONNECT 2.0Ah Lithium Ion Battery (LBXR2020-OPE) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/26856034-black-decker-20v-max-cordless-hedge-trimmer-with-power-command](https://www.desertcart.no/products/26856034-black-decker-20v-max-cordless-hedge-trimmer-with-power-command) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
