WHAT I DO IS USE THE BLENDER. I PUT ABOUT 10 OUNCES. OR A CUP. BLEND @ HIGH SPEED FOR 2 OR 3 MIN. AND IT BECOMES POWDER. EMPTY BLENDER. AND REPEAT. AFTER WASH BLENDER. IF IS NOT IN POWDER IT WILL NOT WORK AGAIN ROACHES, BECAUSE IT WILL NOT STICK TO THEN... **Q: Can you use this in your carpet for fleas** A: Try dusting the carpet sparingly - leave for 48 hrs - vacuum the carpet thoroughly and re-dust and leave for 36-48 hours and vacuum thoroughly. After dusting the carpet you do not necessarily need to vacate the house - simply do not allow pets on the carpet however no harm would come to them if they are exposed to boric acid granular powered. **Q: I received my package of boric acid from florida labs 3/2017. there is no expiration date or lot # on the bag. does this boric acid powder expire?** A: It will not expire. It will clump up in a high humidity environment like Arkansas. Seal it in double plastic bags. **Q: i need a return label for 5 pound boric acid i receive it by mistake and i would like to return it by fedex please send me the label** A: talk to customer service ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, effective *by K***L on 26 July 2026* It worked as expected. An industrial style product for what ever you need. I used it for an insect poison and for laundry. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality product *by A***A on 28 September 2022* Bug problem at home and it was highly effective. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy this product and you will no longer have dreams of bugs crawling on you at night . . . *by R***. on 29 July 2023* More seriously, this is the most effective way I know to deal with Palmetto bugs. (after 40 years in Florida.) I can't stand the thought of spreading neurotoxins all around the house to deal with an annoyance. Boric Acid crystals are a better answer. This stuff mixes 3 to 1 with confectioners sugar. I went to the Dollar store, bought a plastic ketchup bottle, funneled the boric acid and confectioners sugar, shaked it up, cut the tip to a wider point and started squeezing. Behind and under the refrigerator, under every cabinet in the kitchen and bath. I found that it was effective to put a small pile (inch or two) and sweep it into the crevices. This product is a good price. It does what it is supposed to. Rule one: keep your house clean! No crumbs, specs of food, greasy water in the sink or hoarded old bags. Rule two: use this stuff. It irritakes the Palmettos exoskeleton and they head outside to bug heaven. We do not have "roaches" in the city sense, but this stuff is where you begin to turn the battle if you do. I stopped having a bug extermination company do my house every month when the serviceman refused to drink the chem juice he was spraying. Boric acid crystals have low toxicity, but keep it off your skin and away from your eyes. ## Frequently Bought Together - Boric Acid Granular Powder 5 Lb.
