The best practice is to use a thin foam roller cover like our 800-2 to roll on a thin even coat and follow with a brush to smooth out the roller marks. **Q: For filling voids, what's the maximum depth per pour?** A: Not deep. It will overheat and bubble and crack. Unless void is thin. I've filled 2 inch deep voids but they were less than 3/16 thick. I've had overheating in as small as half inch by roughly 2 square inches. **Q: Is this product ok to repair surfboards with?** A: Not sure. I am using it for a cedar strip canoe.
