Review: Fantástico!! - The only issue I had was with floury or damp hands (while making tortillas) it was hard to Grip the lid handle (kept shipping out of my fingers) but a few small scratches added to the handle sides with a sharp knife soon added some extra Grip and fixed that problema. Other than that it is great, whish I had one sooner. Nice and big, holds lots of tortillas, keeps them warm without them getting wet (little steam hole is perfecto) and next day reheat in the microwave is great (like they where just cooked) Looks fantastic on the table too. All in all, very happy with it. Thank you

**Q: Ok, maybe I'm missing something... Can't I just use a large food storage container and heat in the microwave? Is there something special about this?**
A: Nope, not this effectively because it has much thicker walls than storage containers so it retains heat wonderfully, especially if you actually warm it up IN the warmer. I use this in my restaurant, torts can sit on the assembly line for over an hour and still be warm in this and we tried other containers first and they were cold in minutes.

**Q: Will this warmer also keep the Tortillia fresh enough to store them in it?**
A: I keep mine in their package in the warmer.

**Q: Can it be used in an oven?**
A: For microwave and storage use only.  (Microwave Save!)  It is BPA and melamine-free.  Top rack dishwater safe.  Perfect for warming or reheating more than a dozen burrito-sized tortillas as well as pancakes and buns.  Place warmer in micro to ensure everyone at the table receives hot, fresh food at the same time.  I will tell you that I have used it to serve potatoes chips, etc., warm pancakes, etc., and I'm so glad that I purchased this tortilla warmer.  Is a great asset to my kitchen/table.

A: I would say it is a plastic... it is very sturdy and does a great job in our microwave. If you have ever been served tortillas in a container in a Mexican restaurant it is like that container... as Dianne indicates... use in the microwave only
