Its tension system keeps a consistent “click” and strong clamping force even after thousands of uses. **Q: Are these better than metal spring clips?** A: Metal springs lose tension and often need two hands. Lock-Jaw delivers 50% more clamping force, holds tension for years, and features a one-handed quick-release lever for faster, easier plate changes. **Q: Can I drop the bar with these collars on?** A: Yes. Our engineered composite resin absorbs high-impact drops without cracking or releasing the latch. It converts impact into grip, keeping plates “deadlocked” even during aggressive lifts. **Q: Why should I choose Lock-Jaw over cheaper $15-20 plastic collars?** A: You’re investing in safety. Cheap collars use brittle ABS that can shatter. Lock-Jaw’s patented cam design uses high-grade nylon, making it a durable, pro-level tool built to last for years. **Q: Is extended protection provided?** A: Yes. Period. Every genuine Lock-Jaw collar is built to be the last pair you'll ever buy. If a collar fails under normal use due to material or manufacturing defects, we will replace it. We stand by our durability 100%. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lock-Jaw OLY 2 Olympic Barbell Collar - Quick Release Barbell Clamp - CAP Barbell Rubber Olympic Bumper Plate | Multiple Options/Colors - CAP Barbell 2-Inch Olympic Bumper Plate Weight Set | 100-370 lbs | Multiple Options --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/263587562-lock-jaw-barbell-collars-oly-2-olympic-black](https://www.desertcart.no/products/263587562-lock-jaw-barbell-collars-oly-2-olympic-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
