At such a price what can anybody expect? When I purchased this board I couldn't get it to work immediately. I was so frustrated - went onto forums, looked up youtube videos - the lot. Still didn't work and so I gave up. I bought another board - same as this but more expensive. Same problem. Went back to the forums and saw a comment about the db25 cable - it made me wonder. Went and checked my cable with a multimeter - WOW, what a junk cable (purchased from desertcart), only one of the pins corresponded!! So, I paid more money for a better one and it worked, and the more expensive board worked with it, and this board worked also. Which board did I end up using for my machine? The more expensive one and I will tell you why - the quality was better. The screw terminals were far superior in the more expensive one (only a couple of pounds more expensive) and made wiring it up much easier. Is it a bad board? No, especially for the price. Is it worth spending a few pounds more for a better quality board? That is something for you to answer depending on your own needs and budget. At such a price what can anybody expect? When I purchased this board I couldn't get it to work immediately. I was so frustrated - went onto forums, looked up youtube videos - the lot.
