They were pretty similar to the OEM spark plugs I pulled out. So far, everything is going smooth. Only used them roughly month, maybe month and a half. If anything changes, that's worth noting I'll update. Works like a spark plug should. lol. So update time: One of these spark plugs must have had a defect in it, that I did not notice. A hair line crack in the ceramic housing around the electrode. Every now and then I'd get some odd behavior like a miss, and then here recently it was REALLY BAD. I thought I had an electrical problem, or a fuel problem, or a grounding problem ( I guess technically I did), because here my spark plugs are basically brand new. (Roughly 10 months into there life) and.. one is failing on me. So the only reason I even found this out was because the OBDII scanner said a misfire was happening in cylinder 6. Pulled out the plug and sure enough that was the issue. I ordered another replacement plug. I've never had a plug fail on me, even old ones, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It would not work at all. You can use a bosch 6703 but I would reccomend using an AC Delco plug for your motor unless you modified it. Anyways, you can use an AC Delco 14 or R44LTS6 or 41979 or 41993. There are some difference in these but according to rock Auto they fit your motor. There are also more expensive like NGKs and Densos but it's up to you. I believe the copper plugs work fine, which are the cheapest but you have to change them more often. The iridium are the longest lasting AC Delco has but NGK has some with Ruthenium that last longer than iridium but of course they are the most expensive. **Q: what is the thread on a Bosch 9601 spark plug?** A: I have no idea.
