Plush Necessities Luxury Spa Robe - Microfiber with Cotton Terry Lining

I have to say, this is the very first product review I have ever submitted but I felt so strongly it needed to be said. I absolutely love this robe! I much prefer cotton to fleece, it doesn’t stick to me out of the shower. I liked my old cotton terry robe but it was heavy. This is light but substantial enough to be warm. I’m 5’9, 200 lbs and ordered XL. Its perfect! It sits about 6 inches above my ankle. Sleeves are long so folded back just once and now just right. Washed it once and air dry, lost nothing in shrinking. Only drawback is price, it is expensive as bath robes go, but I’m so happy with this item, I am seriously considering a second one for my husband (and that’s saying a lot!).

I am 5'4", 115# and the small is perfect; it is not too fitted or too baggy. The sleeves are just right because they're long enough to keep my arms and wrists warm and rolling them up just once is fine for washing my face. The belt loop in the back keeps the belt in place and makes it look neat rather than slouchy; there are 2 loops on each side, one lower than the other to adjust it to your preference on the waist. It is just the right weight because it doesn't fly away from my body in slight breeze (like walking) and it doesn't feel heavy or pull on my shoulders. I love the length. I don't trip on the stairs but it is long enough to keep my lower legs covered (warm). Best of all, it wraps far enough around that it stays closed when I sit down. The pockets are in the right place--good size, and an extra inside. It is perfect to put on just barely toweled off from the shower. It is also pretty enough (I ordered teal), that I can answer the door if I haven't changed yet. I'm so glad I splurged on this gift to myself. One more thing: my best friend had her guest room closet "stocked" with this robe. I felt special when I visited her and it was great because I love robes but I would never pack one. It's a great idea for guest rooms.

The perfect robe! Cozy but not heavy! Smooth and soft on outside, fine terry on the inside. Have been searching for the perfect robe forever, finally found it.

The quality is as expected from their listing, robe is heavy and soft which is exactly what I was looking for. The length of the robe is pretty long. I’m 5’2” around 125-130 lbs and the recommended size was S but I got an XS and I liked the fit. My only complaint is the sandstone color isn’t as expected. It’s not very grey more brown.

I am so happy with this robe! I have been searching for one that meets my high expectations, and have found it with this. I was looking for warmth (exceeds expectations), comfort (soft absorbent terry inside and buttery soft outside, two choices for belt loops), pockets (2 large and well placed outside, and one inside), sleeve length is perfect, overall length is several inches above ankle. Color and style are classy. So much better than the ones that turn humans into giant stuffed animals. Yes, it was more expensive than I initially intended to spend on a robe, but it is so well made, I see it providing many years of cozy comfort.

Quality fabric and construction. Comfort is great since it is heavy enough for warmth but light enough for easy mobility and movement. I have searched for several years to find the right robe that I could relax in. I bought the XS @ 5'5" and low body weight. Robe is cut generously and hits about 4" above my ankle with sleeve length 3" below my wrist. I highly recommend this robe. Worth the money.

This is sized for a man. I had it taken in by my tailor because I am a woman.

* Inside breast pocket makes for a bulky midsection look. I need to wrap it in the opposite direction to avoid this. Frustrating and uncomfortable to have to change a life long habit. * Collar does not lay down right. Keeps flipping under It is not as wide as my luxury spa robe. * The terry inside is almost comparable, but it is not sewn down to the hem inside. It is slightly shorter and floats above the hem. The sleeves are finished with piping, but are not as long as Spa robe. So when sleeves are rolled, they are shorter. The fabric on the outside is almost as good. The pockets are not lined as in Spa robe. * The weight is almost the same. * You do get what you pay for. Another $100, and you get a luxury spa robe. I have no idea how anyone can call this a cheap piece of crud. 3 stars because it is disappointing, but overall, it's a keeper at this price
