The area has continued to recover well, and I like that this product combines silicone gel with SPF 30. The sun protection is an important advantage for me. Scars can become more noticeable or darker with sun exposure, so having SPF in the same product makes daytime care more convenient. The main drawback is the price, especially considering the small tube, but I still think the formula offers something useful that many basic scar gels do not. Be sure to follow the directions and wait until the wound is fully closed before applying it. It should not be used on an open wound.
