## Questions & Answers

**Q: Should there be instructions with this pressure cooker? None in my package and I can’t find them online.**
A: There was a small booklet (27 pages) included in ours, Has step by step guide and cooking times in it.

**Q: Where can I get a replacement sealing ring for this? Because if spares are not available, I won't buy one!**
A: I understand that they are available online from the Tower website.

**Q: What pressure does it reach I’m looking for 15psi**
A: I do not know a specific pressure as such..it has two setting high or low no value. Perhaps the manufacturer could provide this info.. however as the device utilises a mechanical over pressure valve. It could vary dependant on age or wear. .. high setting is good for chewy meats.. venison or tougher beef. Low setting good for veggies etc.. suck it and see best option

**Q: PrWe're can you get introdtion manual for pressure cooker 8 model**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works but not as good as the one my mother had in the 70s
*by A***S on 11 July 2023*

I followed the instructions & it did what it said in the instructions, so it does work, but its not as good as the big old Tefal one my mother had in the 1970s. With this one you have to have liquid in the bottom & it takes quite a long time to get up to pressure & if you take that into account its not really much quicker than a conventional steamer for boiling veg. The other disappointing thing is the taste. Back in the 70s my mother didn't use much liquid in the bottom, just a bit of fat & the meat went on that with the veg in a basket on top & the veg came out tasting strongly of the meat. With this one the veg just tastes like normal veg, but you do get easy gravy due to the liquid already in the bottom. Its pretty good for stews, they come out like you get from a slow cooker but without the long wait. Its not as easy to see when it gets to pressure as the old type with the spinning thing on top. With this one you have to wait for a plastic thing that you can hardly see inside the lid to pop up. If you're lucky you hear a popping sound when this happens, but I don't always hear that, so you have to watch carefully as the timing doesn't start until that thing pops up. Its quite heavy when filled, but it does have two handles so you can use both hands to carry it outside to let the steam out & avoid all that indoor moisture/condensation.
