I have thin hair areas in front, so will be helpful if I apply more on these area? also, does this product can regrow the loosing hair?

Haven't been using it long enough to know if it will regrow hair completely but it does seem to fill in the areas that are thin.

Absolutely! African Americans, like other ethnicities, have varying hair textures and types. This product is light enough to no weigh your hair down, but also has enough moisture in it to provide just what is needed without making your hair feel slick or greasy. Hope that helps!

Will this product bring back hair that's already gone? I'm balding considerably and much too quickly and miss my hair :(

Answering honestly... I have thinning and small bald spots. What I have seen using this product is small thin hairs growing from those spots. Will it happen to you?....I'm not sure. But what I can say is using it with the shampoo/conditioner combo i have seen a difference in my hair less than a months time.

Is this similar (even ever so slightly) to Rogain where if the person stops using it then his or her hair rapidly falls off?

Depends on why you are losing hair. The minoxidil in Rogain forces your hair into a growth cycle.  The caffeine in Ultrax stimulates the hair follicle and can help block the DHT (supposedly).  So if you have androgena alopecia, probably.  If your hair loss is caused by a temporary issue that has been addressed (over-processing, illness, hormonal imbalance, etc) this may just speed up the regrowth process but I imagine the effects do eventually wear off.  However, I have not used it long enough to see any regrowth, so I can't say for sure.
