The plastic used in these or lack there of gives this straw a very usable feel. The quality is top notch. I've never had one split. The blue color is fine and I find them a good value for the money. Knowing that they are eco-friendly is also a plus.

Plastic straws are terrible for the environment, but cleaning glass and steel reusable straws was onerous. Best of both worlds- a clean straw every time that composts. They also don't break down in hot drinks - I drink hot coffee and tea from them all the time to keep my lipstick from smudging in meetings. Best of the best.

I love that these straws are eco friendly yet don't disintegrate halfway through your drink. The fact that they are wrapped is nice for using with travel. I can stick a few in my car and bag to have on hand without worrying about taste being affected (tasteless). They function well, like plastic straws but are safer and earth friendly.
