**Q: Can you leave ammonia in it or do I have to empty after each use. Thank You**
A: Hi winster. We do not recommend storing anything inside our sprayers. Clean out the sprayer per the chemical manufactures instructions, and then rinse with warm water to ensure there is no residue. This will ensure the sprayer's seals and gaskets remain intact and undamaged. Thank you for your question. We appreciate it.

**Q: Is this plasctic made of high density or low density polyethylene? i am planning to use it to dilute vesphene llse and lph se.**
A: The tank is made from HDPE (high density polyethylene).  We do not recommend using either chemical in this unit.  For your application you should consider item number 1046.

**Q: is it food grade**
A: This item would not be a food grade product. The item is designed to be used to spray fertilizers, weed killers and pesticides

**Q: Is this pressure sprayer Brake cleaner compatible?**
A: No absolutely not. Used it one time with brake cleaner and it never worked again.

If you need a handheld sprayer of this size, then you should definitely consider this Chapin 48 ounce sprayer. Based on some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this sprayer, but I'm glad I did. It's sturdy, well-made, and the sprayer nozzle works much better than I expected. I use it mostly in the fine mist nozzle setting, but it also has a very decent direct stream that reaches much farther than I expected. I would purchase this Chapin again.
