Don't worry about the slight openings! *by on Reviewed in the United States 14 April 2024* Excellent spare parts kit. Definitely have a few of them on my registry. Got to test it out with my Ameda Purley yours pump as well but as far the the AmedaJoyPlus everything fit as intended. I used my 7 year old valves ( the yellow ones in pictures) to see if that slight opening mattered with suction power, and it DID NOT matter.When the item arrived everything was disassembled. So hoses and white caps/white port that plugs into the pump must be put together. I suggest after putting them together run your finger along the white portions of caps/port to insure no air pockets between white ends and hoses.The suction is great. Had no issues and the small membranes I got did not have slight openings, although positive it wouldn't mattered since I tested it with my old ones.
