However, the leveling pads extend 1/2" beyond the width of each leg, effectively limiting the inner width to 51" on the ground. **Q: What kind of casters fit on the table?** A: Currently this workbench does not support the installation of casters. We will launch a workbench that can be upgraded with casters later, and you can pay attention to our shop. Yours Sincerely, Jennife WORKPRO **Q: Can you screw stuff down to the top like a vice since it's "rubber wood"?** A: Yes but this wood top is only for light duty work. Rubberwood is relatively new to the marketplace. It's lumber from the old trees that they collect latex sap from...when they eventually quit producing sap and die, they usually have left the logs in piles to rot as a trash wood. In recent years they figured out a way to stabilize the wood and started using it for lumber. It's harder than many Asian woods but softer than most North American hardwoods. Looks nice, tends to flake or splinter sometimes. Having used it would choose good thick particleboard instead, or quality baltic birch plywood. For a thin top like this and being what it is, I would not plan to hammer much or put a lot of torsional force on items in your vice but for most handy and hobby jobs it should be fine. **Q: Can you mount computer monitors on this desk? Is the overhang large enough to fit a the mounting clamp?** A: If you center the top per the instructions you will have 1.50” overhang both front and back on the bench. Theoretically you could bias the top to one side or the other if you wish, ie ...2.0” in back and 1.0” in front or some other offset its up to you. There are no pre-drilled pilot holes in the top so you can place the top where you want in relation to the frame. BTW the workbench is top notch ## Frequently Bought Together - WORKPRO 48" Adjustable Workbench, Rubber Wood Top Heavy-Duty Workstation, 2000 LBS Load Capacity Hardwood Worktable with Power Outlets, for Workshop, Garage - WORKPRO Heavy Duty Adjustable Hydraulic Shop Stool,Garage Bar Stool, 29in to 33.86in, 330-Pound Capacity, Black - IRIS USA Screw Tool Organizer Small Parts Cabinet Chest, 44-Drawer Hardware Electronics Nuts Bolts Storage Drawers Organization Toolbox Garage Craft Business Teacher Beads Scrapbook Art Hobby - Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/258351494-workpro-48-adjustable-workbench-rubber-wood-top-2000-lbs-capacity](https://www.desertcart.no/products/258351494-workpro-48-adjustable-workbench-rubber-wood-top-2000-lbs-capacity) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
