does this have monitor mode and packet injection?

yes it does support monitor and packet injection, as it is a Realtek RTL8811AU chipset, you might have to install the specific drivers in some linux distro's

I cant see the wifi adapter on Kali linux. I installed the drivers on mi host machine and still can’t find the wifi adapter on iwconfig.

If running Kali Linux from Virtual Box. Make sure is not running. Plug in the Adapter. Right click on the Kali Image and select Settings. GO to USB tab. Select USB 2.0. Click on the green + to add a USB. You should see Realtek 802.1.... WLAN Adapter. Select it and save. Unplug the adapter and start Kali Linux. After is started plug in the adapter.

Will this work for a rasberry pie?

For USB wireless adapter working with Raspberry Pi, we'd recommend you to get an AWUS036AC/EAC (normal power) or AWUS036ACH (long range, please pay attention to USB power supply from Raspvberry Pi) for best driver compatibility. Sample command syntax for the driver installation fro your reference: Install git (sudo) apt install git Install kernel headers (sudo) apt-get install raspberrypi-kernel-headers DRV_NAME=rtl8812AU DRV_VERSION=4.3.14 mkdir /usr/src/${DRV_NAME}-${DRV_VERSION} git archive driver-${DRV_VERSION} | tar -x -C /usr/src/${DRV_NAME}-${DRV_VERSION} dkms add -m ${DRV_NAME} -v ${DRV_VERSION} dkms build -m ${DRV_NAME} -v ${DRV_VERSION} dkms install -m ${DRV_NAME} -v ${DRV_VERSION}

Does this works when packet injecting and monitoring mode on Kali Linux?
