It has a threaded fitting where it enters its socket. The original Ultra had two stems sticking out with o-rings, plus a third stem as a key. **Q: This says it lasts for 6 months but after 2 months our fridge tells us to replace. What’s the deal with that? Does it actually need to be replaced?** A: The six month rule is just given, because of an average consumption of water in a typical household. If you fit this profile, they 6 months would be the right timing. However, a filter is good for a determined amount of water flowing through for filtering. If it just sits there and is not used, it can last forever! I never drink water from the fridge dispenser, so my filter gets no usage at all. In that case, I just simply reset the timer to zero, and done. **Q: Why is this 45 bucks when you can buy 1 for $15 everywhere else?** A: Where can you buy for $15 .. Lowe’s and Home Depot are $45 **Q: My fridge model is ffhs2622msf. will this filter fit my fridge?** A: No this will not fit. ## Frequently Bought Together - FRIGIDAIRE EPTWFU01 PureSource Ultra II Refrigerator Water Filter, 1 Count, White - FRIGIDAIRE PAULTRA2 Pure Air Ultra II Refrigerator Air Filter with Carbon Technology to Absorb Food Odors, 3.8 Inch x 1.8 Inch, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/257290102-eptwfu01-water-filtration-filter-1-count-white](https://www.desertcart.no/products/257290102-eptwfu01-water-filtration-filter-1-count-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
