## Description

Bondo Self Adhesive Body Patch provides a firm, metal reinforced contour foundation for Bondo Body Filler and Fiberglass Resins when applied directly over the patched area.

Review: smart way to fill large holes - For a metal repair of a large hole this works very well. The mesh is all metal and easily cut with regular scissors and moldable by hand. There is a sticky side which is somewhat adhesive. It will hold its own weight since these patches are not heavy but if the patch is suspended it may not hold depending on the surface. These patches overlap very well for larger holes. Once applied these are strong and if blended with metal-filled bondo then its very strong. I used a sharpie marker to trace a contour and that worked well. You can even use this to make curved shapes as a base for filler. These work well as intended. The adhesive is only there to temporarily hold it in place for the bondo filler. Just like fiberglass mat, its not meant to be used on its own.
Review: Adhesive is bad - Great idea, adhesive is rubbish so you need to use other ways to fasten it. Not worth the cost.

A: Thanks for asking.  The Bondo Self Adhesive Body Patch has a very low tack adhesive and will not permanently bond to concrete.  We would like to know more about your application.  Please contact us at 877-666-2277 option 2 so we can gather more information.

**Q: Can I use this to repair the bottom of a metal rusted out area of my garage door?**
A: absolutely! Be sure to clean out the rust first and follow the directions.

**Q: Will this work for repairing the end of a fiberglass pole w/bondo?**
A: It would have to be big enough to cover the hole.  I would recommend using Tiger Paw adhesive and using a nail through center of the patch. The Nail to go in from the inside  face of the patch to protrude toward you.. Push the patch in to the hole and pull against  the inside edge which you have previously applied the Tiger Paw. When you have the patch as even as possible to the pole's shape Let it dry 30 - 60 minutes.  Then apply the bondo let it dry for 30 minutes or more and sand it down to your desired smoothness. If the pole is a fine finish you may have to gradually raise the sanding disc from 220 to 600. Hope this helps. Ed
