**Q: How do you charge it, or does it come with a battery**
A: Don't have to charge it, it runs off the low voltage from the existing doorbell transformer that power by your household. Just like your doorbell, it doesn't need batteries or recharging.

**Q: What is the monthly subscription cost for this item?**
A: There is also a $5 a month plan for one camera, you can see this plan if you have the app and it’s under the video portion. Also they have a $15 a month plan for 3 cameras plus there monitoring. $24 is there full monitoring it’s unlimited camera recording.

**Q: I dont have an existing wired doorbell,can I use this anyway and just change the battery when needed?**
A: There is no battery. It requires an external source of power via a doorbell transformer with a small two conductor wire to get power to the doorbell. Can get what you need at any hardware store, or on Amazon. Hope this helps!

**Q: do you need other simpisafe products of will it work alone?**
A: You can use our Video Doorbell Pro as a stand-alone camera.
