A: the super ear is good device   hearing  quality is good  if  you cup hand over the device  will feed back a little  how can you hear say  a cross  the street on good day  long rang

A: Yes, it is small enough for an 8-year-old. It is for ages 6+

**Q: Can you communicate with it**
A: The Micro Super Ear amplifying sound. so you can listen to people conversations up from far-away (depend on how 'noisy' the environment is)... so the item is a 'far away' listening device rather than communication device. One more thing is that you can place it over-the-ear (Bluetooth design) so your hands are free for you spying moves! :-)

**Q: Can you hear very far away**
A: This is something that I would not buy.  It is not worth the money.  You can only be 25 feet from whom you are listening to hear them.   Not worth the money.
