## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does the er4sr compare to the older er4s / er4p?**
A: While both the HF and ER4 series use a balanced armature driver, the ER4S is precision matched to within 1 dB. Performance certificate is included with the ER4 series. The new ER4SR uses the same high performance drivers as the original ER4S. Both are designed to produce the most accurate sound reproduction possible. They are often used by studio recording engineers (S is for Studio Reference). The original ER4P and ER4P-T were designed for audio engineers and audiophiles on the go (P is for portable). They are tuned to maximize sound from portable music players. The new ER4SR will give you the sound accuracy you expect from the original ER4S or P with the added benefit of removable cables. If you prefer a little more in the lower frequencies, go for the ER4XR--Extended Range. Please feel to reach out to our customer service department at 888-389-6684 if you have further questions.Etymotic Research

**Q: Are these flat/true for mixing on the go? If not which ones?**
A: These earbuds are true and great for iPod iPhone use. Good highs and mids but a little tinty in the bass end. Nice tight buds if you use the ety cones that are supplied. Also they are number one in noise reduction!! Work or play they won’t fall out. 8 of 10!

**Q: What is the difference between this xr and the sr version? thanks all!**
A: Thanks very much for your question. The XR has a modest bass boost and the SR are completely flat. World Wide Stereo is 39 years old and a proud authorized Etymotic Research dealer.

**Q: Do the headphones sold through amazon warehouse deals still come with the etymotic research warranty?**
A: No. WiredforLess is correct. Only NEW purchases made from an AUTHORIZED Etymotic reseller will be eligible for warranty coverage. Amazon itself is NOT an authorized reseller and warehouse deals fall under used product. Not all sellers currently operating on Amazon or other online sites are authorized. If you are not certain whether or not a reseller is authorized, you are advised to first call Etymotic's Customer Service line at 888-389-6684.Etymotic Research
