You would want to do a very light coat and then stick it onto a different surface several times so the adhesive isn't as strong. it's not going to be able to be very sticky or you will ruin the paper in your journal. Test on plain paper before you try it in your journal. **Q: Will this product help with preventing bleed out when applying paint to the Mylar stencil? If not any recommendations?** A: Yes, when sprayed lightly on the back of mylar stencils this will help create a seal to keep paint from bleeding. We also recommend a dry brush or dry roller technique to prevent bleeding. **Q: Hi - When used for stencils, does this spray do a good job of preventing bleeding (seeping) and giving sharp edges to the design? Thank you!** A: Yes it does help secure your stencil to prevent bleeding, just remember to use a light spray. Thank you Stencilease Customer Service **Q: How is the spray removed (from the stencil)? Can it be washed off with water or is a solvent (like isopropanol) needed?** A: Thank you for your inquiry. This spray adhesive can be removed using warm water and dish soap. You may also use a citrus - based cleaner to clean the stencil.Thank you,The Stencil Ease Team ## Frequently Bought Together - Stencil Ease Adhesive Spray (Stencil Ease Repositionable) - Auhoahsil Stencil Brushes Set, 5 Pcs Natural Bristle Wooden Handle Template Brushes for Wood Wall Model House Painting, Stencil Projects, Card Making, DIY, Crafts and Acrylic Oil Watercolor Painting - 30 Pcs Round Sponges Brush Set, Round Sponge Brushes for Painting, Paint Sponges for Acrylic Painting, Painting Tools for Kids Arts and Crafts (4 Sizes) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/255625481-stencil-ease-repositionable-stencil-spray-adhesive-4-4-oz-can](https://www.desertcart.no/products/255625481-stencil-ease-repositionable-stencil-spray-adhesive-4-4-oz-can) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
