I put the cream heavy on the stencil, and when the time is up, I brush it back up and scrape it back into the container. I don't think I will ever use this whole bottle! **Q: I want to etch whole pieces of glass 2'x1.5' about 8 pieces. Will this bottle work? Any suggestions?** A: It says on their website that it's not recommended for etching large, solid areas of glass. I think you may be better off looking into frosted spray paint. **Q: Is this 22-ounce enough to sketch an entire glass window the size of a door?** A: Yes, but if you are trying to etch large areas of glass, or are frosting the glass, etching solution will leave a splotchy look. Use window film in frosted to achieve a uniform look. **Q: Can you use vynal to make you templates, or does it need to be a certain matreial?** A: We used contact paper. Which is basically vinyl with a sticky side to it, so yes, you should be able to use vinyl.
