Holds the weight. Review: Heavy duty good rack - I installed this 4x8 overhead garage storage rack to free up some floor space in my garage, and it has made a noticeable difference. Once installed, it feels very solid and secure. The rack provides a lot of storage space for items that don’t need to be accessed regularly, such as holiday decorations, storage bins, camping gear, and seasonal items. Moving those things overhead helped clear out a significant amount of floor space. The steel construction feels heavy-duty, and the rack holds multiple storage totes without any signs of sagging or wobbling. I also like that the overhead design makes use of space that would otherwise go unused. Installation does take some time, and having a second person helps, especially when lifting the frame into place. Following the instructions carefully and locating the ceiling joists are important steps for a successful installation. Pros: * Creates a large amount of extra storage space * Strong and sturdy construction * Great for storage bins and seasonal items * Helps keep the garage organized * Makes good use of overhead space Cons: * Installation can be time-consuming * A second person is helpful during assembly Overall, this rack is a great solution for anyone looking to organize a crowded garage. Once installed, it feels secure and provides plenty of storage without taking up valuable floor space. ## Features - 1200 lbs Tested, 750 lbs Rated: Our overhead garage storage rack undergoes rigorous 1.6 times load testing (1200 lbs) to ensure unmatched safety and durability, supporting up to 750 lbs for your tools and equipment. - Reclaim Your Garage Space: Avoid water damage by storing your items off the garage floor.
