Please check out WorkEZ Professional - it is about 2" narrower and does fit in most common wheelchairs. Please visit our website (uncagedErgonomics DOT com) for purchase and more details. thank you. **Q: Can I use it as a writing platform over my desk at work to decrease tension on my neck?** A: Yes, it can be used as a writing platform. The large silver surface that's made for supporting books is not smooth enough to write on by it self, so you would have to put something like additional papers behind the paper you are actually writing on. Hope this helps. Take care and have a great day! **Q: How far apart are the legs?** A: There is 18 3/8" between the inner legs. The width on the outside (outside the outer legs) is 21 3/4". **Q: When using with a book; can you write/erase in the book without it collapsing (if it was on a desk)?** A: Once you set the height, the joints lock in place and you can write on it safely. The stand won't collapse under normal pressure from writing & erasing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience *by A***1 on 19 January 2020* Great item helped me in reading and using my laptop ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente producto! *by A***A on 31 March 2021* Tiene un diseño elegante al ser de aluminio, es ligero, facil de usar y cumple su función.
